Mutual of Omaha’s newly announced Medicare Advantage plan will go on sale this fall, 2019 AEP. Their first product area was announced on Tuesday and is in the Cincinnati Ohio area. We expect Ohio to just be start of Mutual’s Medicare Advantage product.

Earlier in the year Mutual released information about it’s partnership with Lumeris, a St. Louis based carrier. Mutual will own the Lumeris Medicare Advantage name and provide distribution for the product.

The first network contracts in the Cincinnati area with the new Mutual/Lumeris Medicare Advantage are TriHealth and St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
